Transforming offshore data collection from commissioned uncertainty to data on demand.
The oceans underpin energy, security, and climate resilience, yet most ocean data is still collected using large vessels which are costly, carbon intensive and put lives at risk.
We believe long-endurance autonomous systems will have to become the default infrastructure layer for offshore operations to keep up with the growth and to reach net zero and a more sustainable planet.
Norsail is building the autonomous data layer for the ocean.
Efficient wind propulsion provides zero emission mobility providing more power for data collection.
Powered by renewable energy we can operate 6+ months at sea, year-round collecting and streaming back data to where you need it.
Autonomous vessels dramatically reduce operational costs, making persistent ocean observation accessible.
From offshore wind to ocean research, Norsail’s autonomous vessels deliver the endurance, power, and payload capacity to support a wide range of missions.
Habitat surveillance, environmental and metocean data collection for offshore renewables and marine research.
Acting as a surface communications gateway for AUVs including tracking and data transfer with acoustic comms and Starlink.
A persistent maritime sensing platform for surveillance and situational awareness.
